Ricardo Mancebo
Founder and CEO

Ricardo Mancebo, Founder & CEO, has worked for over 20 years in the San Francisco Bay Area developing novel genomics technologies and products in the biotech industry. Ricardo founded GenEndeavor to develop a new generation of non-enzymatic assay platforms to address major gaps in healthcare. Ricardo received his Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from Columbia University and performed his postdoctoral research at Yale University and Stanford University. His mission is to prevent genetic and infectious disease progression by quickly and accurately detecting pathological biomarkers in early stages and empowering asymptomatic screening of diseases while they are still treatable through the advancement of innovative technologies.

Atmika Paudel
Scientist

Dr. Atmika Paudel has mainly worked in Nepal, Japan and the USA. In 2013, she obtained her Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences from the University of Tokyo, Japan. During her Ph.D., her main research was finding novel antibiotics using invertebrate Bombyx mori (silkworm) infection models, which she pursued until 2022. During her research at the University of Tokyo, Teikyo University, and Hokkaido University, she had secured several postdoctoral fellowships and research grants from Japan Society for the Promotion of Science and other funding agencies. Before joining GenEndeavor in August 2022, Dr. Paudel was an Assistant Professor at Hokkaido University working on virulence mechanism of various pathogens including biothreat agent Bacillus anthracis. Her research interests revolve around different aspects of diagnosing and combating infectious diseases. During her free time, she likes listening to music and writing poems.

Brindhi Amalraj
Senior Research Associate

Brindhi Amalraj is an inquisitive problem solver, passionate about applying her expertise in molecular biology to address pressing healthcare challenges. She graduated with a Masters in Molecular Biology at the University of Alberta, Canada where her research focused on identifying novel genes involved in vascular formation. She also co-founded a healthcare startup, dedicated to improving at-home diagnostics. Currently, Brindhi is leading the development of an early diagnostic detection system for ovarian cancer at GenEndeavor.

Heather Johnson
Senior Office Operations and HR Manager

Heather Johnson earned her B.A.S. from Miami University in Ohio and has over 20 years experience in providing business office support. At Genendeavor, Heather supports the team with procurement, HR policies, project management and day-to-day operations.
